Our Story
Prerna means inspiration — and that is what this practice gives back
It is a simple story of what I believed in — and what I experienced along the way. Here, my experience through Yog Sadhana became my Guru.
I began to understand that Yoga is not merely about physical fitness or mastering postures. If we are willing to dive deeper, Yoga takes us inward — to a place we have all been searching for.
From mental balance to emotional stability.
From fear to unshakable confidence.
From feeling separate to experiencing Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family.
Yoga has the power to transform not just the body, but the way we experience ourselves, others, and life. And perhaps, once we truly become a Yogi, we realise that we are capable of becoming so much more.
I believe Yoga is one of the most beautiful paths to bring us back to ourselves — and ultimately, bring us together in harmony.
This is the journey behind PRERNA YPD. Come, be a part of this journey. Be a part of this community.
From boardroom to breathwork
Sandhya is a qualified Company Secretary who spent years inside the corporate world — the deadlines, the pressure, the quiet anxiety that comes with it. She does not teach about stress from a distance; she has lived it, and found her way through it with this practice. That is why her sessions meet working professionals exactly where they are.
Why it works
Four pillars of quiet strength
Against Stress
Slow, deliberate movement and extended exhalation signal the body to exit fight-or-flight. Stress stops being your default state.
Against Anxiety
Pranayam steadies the breath, and a steady breath steadies the mind. Anxious spirals lose their fuel within minutes of practice.
Against Depression
Dhyan gently loosens the grip of heavy, looping thought. Students describe it as light returning to a room long kept dark.
Toward Spirit
Beyond relief lies something deeper — a felt connection to the quiet, unchanging awareness within you. This is the heart of our practice.
The sangha in practice
Every body, every age, one breath
Mind, breath and spirit — in harmony
Mind
Clarity over clutter
Breath
The bridge between body and spirit
Spirit
Stillness that stays with you
“When the body is steady, the breath is slow, and the mind is quiet — what remains is who you truly are.”
